Basic Salad dressing – French Vinaigrette
My advice is to buy yourself a salad shaker and prepare your Basic salad dressing and store it in a cool and dark cupboard or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- 1/3 of vinegar: cider/ balsamic or a mix
- 2/3 extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp French mustard
- Himalayan salt
- Place all the ingredients in the shaker
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needs be
- Serve it right away or store it.
You can change your basic vinaigrette and create variations by replacing the vinegar with lime/ lemon juice, add herbs, shallots…
