Emilie also teaches a wide range of Group Fitness classes including Pilates, Spinning, Aqua aerobics, Zumba, Leg Bums and Tums in several Leisure centres.

Meet Emilie Malik

Hi, I am Emilie Malik, I was born in Paris  44 years ago. I consider myself lucky to have started dancing at the age of 3 and had a mother who loved cooking. I grew up in a really sporty family and practiced Contemporary Dancing by following the world renowned Martha Graham movement concept until the age of 20.

It was after graduating from the University of Dauphine in Paris and whilst working in the City of London in Investment banking that I rediscovered my passion for dance and exercise. I devoted my evenings to the gym, attending a diverse range of classes and old school aerobic, dance classes.

It didn’t take me a long time to swap careers and dedicate my life to Fitness. For the last 20 years, I have been teaching children, adults and the over fifties, a variety of classes from Pilates, Spinning, Aqua aerobics, Step, Zumba, Barre concept and many others whilst raising my two sons.

I also had to deal with health issues mainly thyroid problems, which drove me to broaden my knowledge from Physical Fitness to GLOBAL – WHOLE BODY FITNESS: Mind, Health, Body and Nutrition.  It’s so enjoyable to pass on my knowledge to others and see the satisfaction in their smiles on a daily basis. I know fitness is constantly changing, so I make time to attend further trainings a year in order to learn, develop my skills and stay at the forefront of the industry.

To achieve your Full Fitness potential, there is not just one diet or one exercise which is going to work! We are all unique and we can only try!

Nowadays, with the internet you can exercise anywhere, anytime and with EM-Fitness I can now offer to coach you at home!  There’s something for everybody – on or off the mat! Discover the best in yourself by joining me on a new journey.

A year ago today, I joined Emilie’ s Zoom classes. Not only I enjoyed a great variety of classes but the variation within each classes has been huge. There’s always been something different and challenging. Strangely, today was my first outside Zumba class with Emilie – great fun. Emilie an enormous thank you for the past year.


Emilie’s classes are designed for everyone – she makes sure several options of difficulty are demonstrated so that you can work to your ability. She also plans each class so that it’s varied and fun – I’ve been doing Zoom Pilates with Emilie for 18 months and no classes have been similar or the same!
