Boil milk, water, vanilla pod and quinoa in a saucepan, cover, simmer for 10-15 min until liquid has been absorbed.
Let it cool off,
Heat in berries in frying pan 2-3 min, taking care not to burn it.
Add quinoa, cinnamon, nutmeg
Serve it in a bowl with chopped almonds
If you cook the quinoa the night before, let it cool off and store in the fridge, you will just need to heat the berries and add the quinoa the following day. To save time, you can even prepare the quinoa for 2 days.
